This afternoon, we held a promo event for our upcoming festival in front of Yo Burger on Riverdale Avenue. The promo event offered a "Sneak Preview" of the larger festival, which will take place on Sunday,September 29th. Today, the festival organizers were joined by sponsors from Linda's Jazz Nights, DJ Drugs (who also provided balloons for the promo event and will also do so for the festival), Kidaroo, Salvatore's of Soho, Tiny's Diner, An Beal Bocht and Sotheby's International Realty. Assemblyman Dinowitz and Community Board 8 members Andrew Cohen and Dan Padernacht also stopped by. The event, which featured live music by musicians from NY Brogue and balloon-making by stilt walker Dawn Jones.
