We held our first jazz concert in Henrry Hudson Park on September 23rd. It was a gorgeous afternoon and community members from all over the area came out to enjoy the music. The patio under the momument is a perfect location for a concert and the band, made up of world-class jazz musicians and Bronx residents, Eric Alexander, John Webber and Joe Farnsworth, was amazing. The crowd loved them. Thanks to State Senator Alessandra Biaggi for helping to make the event possible and to our wonderful sponsors, including Green Mountain Energy and Riverdale Family Orthodontics, who both brought give-aways to the event. Thanks to Assemblyman Dinowitz for stopping by and thank you to the 50th Precinct for all their help. We hope to host this event again in the coming year.
