KRVC’s workshop ‘Parent Math Night: Helping Your Kids with the New Math’ was held on October 3rd and was designed for parents wishing to help their children navigate the challenges of math homework. The discussion focused on how math has changed since today’s parents went to school and how to help parents help their children learn and enjoy math. The aim of the workshop was to share tips for math success, including how to study for math tests and how to develop math confidence.
The workshop was conducted by Professor Robin Schwartz who has 17 years of Math tutoring and 15 years of classroom teaching experience. Her academic credentials include a BS in Electrical Engineering and MBA in Finance.
