Lavie Margolin, BS in Marketing and MA in Adult Learning, talked about Growing Business Visibility and Opportunity via LinkedIn to a group of Riverdale business owners on February 6th. Business owners were invited to think about ways to increase their presence in a meaningful and targeted manner on LinkedIn and how to develop relationships and share resources to benefit clients and others in related businesses. The business owners were invited to learn about ways to search constructively for other professionals and prospective employees through LinkedIn. Additionally, tips were given to businesses about how to connect with a number of different groups that might be of benefit to promoting their business and increasing their exposure to relevant audiences. The Workshop was well received and the opportunity for businesses to network was appreciated. Mr. Margolin has authored several books, including The LinkedIn Butterfly Effect and From Linked Out to LinkedIn. As a consultant, Mr. Margolin has provided LinkedIn marketing strategies and best-use practices to clients in a variety of business sectors.
Mr. Margolin will return to KRVC on May 1st to present a Workshop for individuals and job seekers looking to maximize their use of LinkedIn to network – ‘From Linked Out to LinkedIn: Maximizing your Use of LinkedIn for Networking’.
