Martha Paradis shared with us her memoir "Flowers & Locusts":
In an era when only a few weekly flights served the royal capital and television had not yet come to Ethiopia, the memoir Flowers & Locusts chronicles the tumultuous childhood of an American girl whose father served as adviser to the legendary Emperor Haile Selassie. Martha Paradis is a psychotherapist specializing in the resolution of childhood trauma. Married with two grown children, she maintains her lifelong interest in world cultures and still considers Ethiopia the home of her heart.
It was a fascinating evening learning about her history and the culture of Ethiopia. To find out more about her book go to FlowersandLocusts.com.
