A nice crowd of merchants gathered for our first Marble Hill merchants meeting tonight at Applebees on 225th Street. Many new connections were made, a great deal of information was shared and we got off to great start with our Marble Hill Merchant Organizing Initiative. Special thanks to Jennifer Wynns for promoting the meeting. We are so pleased to have her has part of the KRVC team. Thanks also to Jordan and Cliff Stanton for filming some of the meeting and to the Rubin Family for attending and supporting the event and all other KRVC events. The meeting's speakers included Tracy McCabe Shelton, KRVC Executive Director, and Sergio Villaverde, CB 8 Economic Development Committee Chair. Sergio was very instrumental in encouraging KRVC to branch out into the community of Marble Hill.
