The terrible weather did not stop KRVC from producing an awesome festival today on South Riverdale Avenue. The event featured a huge covered stage and the street was covered by a large 20 by 120 foot tent. The stage line up was top notch. We started the day with local children's groups dancing and singing and then moved into the Red Hot Swing and NY Brogue. The tent had audience seating for the stage, several great exhibits and mini golf, face paining and clowns. We are so appreciative of everyone who turned out for the greet community day and who sponsored and supported it including the 50th Police Precinct, Community Board 8, our elected officials, News 12 the Bronx, our top sponsor - NewYork-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital and all the great businesses on the block.
