We were able to welcome opening of new business “Taqueria Sinaloense” at 113 W 225th Street, and organized a visit from the NYC SBS Compliance Advisory Service on November 19, 2018. The taco-business which opened recently benefited from the visit of SBS advisor Angelo Pagan, which guided the owner, Pedro Almaraz, through the many requirements a small business needs to observe, from a variety of city agencies, including the NYC Fire Department, NYC Sanitation Department, NYC Department of Consumer Affairs, NYC Department of Health, etc. Upon inspecting the business, the SBS advisor provides the owner at-no-cost a detailed report, including suggesting for remediating potential violations.
