News 12 rolled up to KRVC today at 10:30 am. After background interviews with KRVC's Executive Director, Tracy Shelton, and Laura Levine-Pineda, Bailey Avenue Merchants & Business Alliance/BAMBA Program Coordinator, we headed over to Bailey Avenue and 238th Street. There, we had interviews with two founding BAMBA members at Acapella Pizza and at New Heights Printworks. Acapella Pizza owner Carlos Rosas spoke about issues they have recovering from the COVID-19 shutdowns. We then watched the chef prepare a pizza! Over at New Heights Printworks, owner Yhancy Nunez spoke about his excitment about the formation of BAMBA. Then, we watched him make a BAMBA hat!
