Come join us for a sing-a-long to The Sound of Music. The movie will play on our large outdoor movie screen at the beautiful lawn next to the Van Cortlandt House Museum. Bring your chairs and picnic dinners. Broadway Producer Larry Rogowsky will be leading us through all the songs in the movie.  

Before the feature we will be showing a screening of a new short film, The Invaders, by Bronx Filmmaker Mark Cabaroy. 
Mark Cabaroy is an award winning Writer/ Director who for over 25 years has been directing, writing and producing various film projects including,  but not limited to, short films, commercials, music videos and educational industrials. After attending the School of Visual Arts, Mark started off his career as a freelance writer for the Children’s Television Workshop, writing for hit shows such as Sesame Street and The Electric Company.
In 2013 he was awarded an artist in residency BRIO grant from the Bronx Council of the Arts.

We will have candy and popcorn for sale, art projects for the kids, and facepainting. Festivities start at 7pm and movie (TBA) begins at dusk.

Please note that this event will be held instead of the previously scheduled July movies in Vinmont and Bailey Park.
